I made some craft kits like I've done before and also some magnets and notebooks. Because caring is my super power I did lots of super hero crafts but I also did some Easter ones. I was supposed to go to the same kind of Kids Market that I did for the Child Cancer Foundation but it got cancelled. My friend's Mum told us about another one and so that was a one hour kids market.
At the market I sold $50 worth of my crafts which was a lot in one hour.
I wanted to raise even more money though so my old Preschool, where I went for 3 years, said I could set up a table in the foyer there. Lots and lots of the parents bought my crafts until I was all sold out! In total I raised $160 for Soup Kitchen Wellington which was more than my goal of $150 so I am really happy.
My next job is to go to the supermarket and spend that money on food. Mum has taken me into the supermarket to look around and start to choose what would be good to buy. I am looking forward to the shopping trip, and then we will go into the soup kitchen to drop everything off.

Lincoln, you are an amazing person. At the age of six, you act upon the golden word of compassion, something many people many times your age will never do nor understand! You are an example to many of us. Stay true to your dreams my boy. Bless you!
ReplyDeleteThank you Anja for leaving me a comment. I learned lots about caring at your Preschool! Love Linc
